Eric Carle was from Massachusetts and there is actually an Eric Carle Museum out in Western, MA.
ReplyDeleteWe call this a Wooly Bear caterpillar. There is an old New England folk tale that says the longer the brown stripe, the longer and harsher the winter.
ReplyDeleteThe Eric Carle museum is a good time for both kids and adults. It is a quick visit, but well worth the time if you can get out to Western MA
